IM in Ireland so it might be a slightly different market, but my best sellars are personalies baby bibs and face cloths....think they called wash cloths in the USA!
I also advertise saying that I will embroider an item a customer already own's and that seems to be getting very popular!
Hope this helps!

Beest sellers for me seem to be dish towels, and small quilts. I do have a variety of everything I can think of tho, just to keep it interesting. Have fun......
Tote Bags are a favourite with me.Also small totes for Kids.Cushion covers for 40cm to 50cm size with embroidery and or patchwork. Bathroom/toilet sets (toilet seat covers and spare TR holders) pretty with lace. Some ITH toys are also popular. Easy baby quilts and burp cloths.
Prices are slightly more than what you could buy in shops, people pay for the originalty.
Wish you great sales at your show.

I struggle with that too, but I mostly have a problem with what to charge. The shop I bought my machine from said one dollar per thousand stitches, but that hasn't really worked for me, since some designs have thousands of stitches, then there's the costs of materials. Anybody else got any thoughts?
hand towels & washers & tea towels seem to be my best sellers, but any item I make seems to sell well.
Maybe as it's your first, a wide range would be a good start so that you know what is popular in your own area. Could possibly have things pictured to be able to take orders once you sell? Depends on the weather too. If it gets cold, maybe scarves. If it's hot, sunhats or visors? I don't do a stall but personally enjoy funny things and they make good gifts. Kitchen towels or hand towels, for men and women. Sport for men, maybe, or nautical, trains etc. Women are easier as you know what you like yourself. Maybe something with local flowers/State map if there's a tourist industry. Good luck!
