Congrats, Shirlene! I have nothear of that and that being said I would mush rather do that than run my needle thru beeswax. Thanks for sharing!
Good for you! These little sheets have so many uses! Thanks for sharing! Enjoy your voucher :)
CONGRATULATIONS Shirlene. Great tip. There are a lot of uses for dryer sheet. If you have a cat with alergies, rub a used one on her fur to sooth the itch. This tip was given to my brother from his vet.
Enjoy your new designs.

Way to go girl! It looks like the Cuties have supplied several TIPS - that is great.
Great! I also use the scented fabric softener sheets to make the bugs leave us alone at a picnic.
Super tip - I like that - it smells good - while getting rid of the bugs. *4U
Hello, Shirlene, I am glad you win voucher!
But, it's difficult to understand (for poor foreigner I am) what to do exactly. I understand it's for thread not to tangle, I understand what is fabric softener sheet, but I suppose it is for hand sewing only ? If it's also for machine sewing, I don't understand what to do exactly. Thank you to let me know, pleasssse. Hug and love
Francoise, you are right - it is for hand sewing - but I think that you could run your thread through a dryer sheet - if you wanted to for your machine embroidery - but the sheet might mess up your thread more than it would be worth. Just stick your needle and thread through a fabric softener sheet - so that the thread doesn't tangle while hand sewing. *4U
It allows the tread to slip through the fabric easier - so that the thread doesn't tangle up and knot while sewing.
Congratulations! Some of us knew of your tip before you did due to the time zone. lol I use those dryer sheets for a lot of stuff. Used ones for dusting TV and computer screens etc. and new ones for static control in the winter for garments and hair when conditioner fails.
Anita, I guess you did - isn't that funny? I hope that you submit some of those idea's - they might accept them - who knows. *4U
Congrats Shirlene!!! Great tip. Thanx for sharing.

Congrats Shirlene. This is a new one for me. It the softner suppose to be new or one that has been through the dryer?
Terre, I use the newer one - it can always be tossed in the dryer later, as well. *4U

Neat! Never heard of that one - will have to try.
Congratulations for the brilliant idea AND enjoy spending the gift voucher that comes with being Tip of the day
What does it do? Or should I say, what is the purpose?
The purpose is to detangle the thread or to leave it to where the thread will slip through the fabric easier and will not tangle up so easily. *4U
Congratulations! nice tip,I rub my thread over an ordinary candle, but I'm going to do it your way from now on.Thank you
From Bev
Bev, I know everyone has heard of the bees wax thing - but when I found how easy this was - I have used it every since. Let me know how it works for you. *4U

This is agreat tip, Shirlene.I have used it on thread but will try it on the needle. Hugs Lenore
Oh my - you could have submitted this - as it is actually the thread that you are coating with the fabric softener - to keep it untangled. Thanks! *4U
