First of all welcome to Cuties. When downloading designs it is most important to rename them into some thing that you will recognize at a later date and then place them in a folder that has sub headings eg: Animals - Baby - Children etc. Downloading can become very addictive, therefore you do need to set up a proper filing system. Hope that helps. You will get heaps of help from fellow Cuties from all over the world. A flower 4U.

Jenny, when you download your designs - you don't have to click the button so quickly to save it - change the name - before you click the SAVE button - then it will have the name that you want - and you can also - put it in the file that you want - at the top of the screen - you can arrown up to the file - or create a file folder for it, too.

I don't understand why you can't rename files, but even if you can you might want to buy one of the programs that lets you see icons of the designs instead of just names. I have got Iconiser, but you need Embird (basic) to get it to work. There are other programs on the market that do the same. And once you have one of hem you'll wonder how you ever managed without them.

When you rename a file, make sure you don't delete the file extension (.hus, .pes,etc.) Your machine has to know what format the design is in.

I think that might be my problem. Thank you!
