hmmm, they look delicious and make me hungry....love cookies. but I don't know these (live in the Netherlands)
Gerry
try it with google :o)
First looked at ebay and found one seller for australian goods in Germany and then I see this: http://www.timtam-shop.de!!!
Maybe the deliver also to NL? But I hard you have those fantastic chocolate sprinles in differnet sizes and flavores; I love Schokostreusel...
If I buy some tim-tams maybe we could do a sweets-exchange? *lol*
Greetings, Bettina
PS: Just found your rescue> http://www.timtamslam.nl ;o)
sorry for my write error but all this talking about chocolate is soooo mouthwatering :-)
My chocolate allergy prevents me from enjoying most things chocolate, BUT, I do occasionally hide a packet of Tim Tams in the back of the fridge so I can have a nice cold biscuit every now and then.
And we call them "biscuits" or "bickies" here.....
"cookies" is more of an American term.
The biscuit section is crunchy, like McVitie's Digestives, not soft like American cookies.
Truly the most irresistible chocolate biscuit ever.
hugs n roses, Meganne
Yes they are yummy. I like all the flavours, well except the one with chilli in it. Chocolate should be my middle name!
Oh no. Just what I need - a new addiction.
Hello Angie,
yes it is unfair to make us greedy on them when we have so much more work to get those very delicious looking, nasty come-on-my-hip-and-stay-there chocolate-bars...
Greetings, Bettina
I'm ashamed: I learned confectioner (ok some years ago but I love all what is sweet: chocolate, cookies, cake, icecream...) and I never heard of tim tams. Thanks to google I knew now how they look like.
My question: Is that bisquit more like a shortbread or like a sponge cake?
Greetings, Bettina (bad girls! your description is so mouth-watering and I have none ;o)
The biscuit is like shortbread. they make white chocolate ones now and they are even better....
I found an german online-shop just for tim-tams! Welcome in the wonderful world of globalisation :o)
I also remember that discussion a while back. I'll have to check out Target in our area!
there are quite a few different Tim Tams, my favorite is the dark chocolate one.
I've had a pack of those in the cupboard for about 3 weeks untouched. One son isn't keen on dark choc, the other prefers the white choc Tim Tams! (& I'm not much of a chocoholic and also post-op)
Oh my - I heard them talking about these a couple years ago - they sounded so good - now I know - if you love them - they must be - Hehehe!
mmmmmm Tim Tams, fortunately I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but they are definitely good chocolate bickies (bickies is what we call biscuits here down under, we don't normally refer to them as cookies).
And of course there is the TimTam Slam!!!! Make yourself a cup of coffee, nibble both ends off one biscuit (just the very end so you can see the biscuit inside)Dip the end into your coffee and suck on the biscuit like a straw, then eat the biscuit quickly!! TimTams are in New Zealand too - very very addictive.
