I made this charming, old fashioned gingham check fabric into a border. This version, 10x6 inches, is quite a long design to go across the bottom of a towel. I have not tested this super long design. It really needs the white understitching to keep the squares square, but could be skipped if you were sewing it on some dense white fabric. Please test before sewing on a special item.
