Thank for the link, it´s a wonderful work. I love the angels *******************
What a pretty lamp cover! I am now jealous and may have to have my husband drive me many miles to go to an Ikea store.
I gave hubby a list of the 3 nearest Ikea stores, all a few hours drive away so I think we shall be taking a long drive tomorrow or the next day! Now, what kind of fabric should I get?
Wow, now I know why you are married for such a long time: He is a sweetie to fulfill your desire :o) I take the regualar fabric like you use it for cloth or stores; nothing special in my case. Just watch how it looks when the light is shinning through. Should not be elastic cause this can loose it's expansibility :o(
Greetings and have a nice day at the ikea-store
Bettina
This is stunning - I like that you had material - that worked with your Angel theme - great job.
This is really cute. And, for a child's room it can be used all year, not just for holidays. Ok I have to ask - where do you find the lamp fixtures?
Thanks for showing this! It´s a wonderful idea and wonderful work of you both!
This is beautiful. What material did you use for the shade?
It was something from my stash. It's kind of a fine netting/organza type thing with shiny stars. I bought it 'cuz I LOVE shiny things! It worked well with wash away under it (like you would use for FSL).
This turned out very beautiful. Love your themes of angels seemingly floating.
this is very nice, I think we are going to see alot more Ikea lamps show up in projects, Thanks to Ansalu for another great idea.
You did not stolen anything cause it is not originally my own idea and we post them here on projects to inspire the others to make their own interpretation. And I have to say it honestly: Yours is georgeous!
I'm sure this is not the last one you made ;o)
So nice for christmas with the stars and the angels in white and gold.
Greetings, Bettina
Bettina, this is a sweet and generous post. I love your attitude!!! Hugs, Laura*
