finger foods for 30. Quiet is very good. And it means we will not be inhaling 3,000 calories of food and feeling stuffed and uncomfortable. I like quiet. Are you jealous ow? I hope not because the downside is we miss being with our families. The price of being in the military, but we are used to it. Please say a prayer for our deployed military members and their familis. Thanks

Karen, I do not think anyone thought you were complaining dear. It is just a different Thanksgiving when you are away from the hussle and bussle of the crowd. We always think of the deployed military members and give thanks for all that they do to keep us safe in our own homes. Have a wonderful day and we will be praying for you and your DH. *4U

We honor the military as well as their families every day in our home. As much as I enjoy the quiet we will be loud and rowdy throughout the holidays...our families can't seem to ever hold down the noise..but we enjoy it.

(smile) regarding being away from family, yes there were many many years we were away making our on Thanksgiving in countries that didn't celebrate. And I keep the military in my thoughts and prayers often. Thanks for the reminder. And HAPPY QUITE THANKSGIVING.... (yes, I'm jealous) hehehe.
