Thankyou for your thoughts and prayers.

While I don't live in the nearby area, I think it is affecting us nationwide. We are quite a small country and this is a huge number of lives to lose in one incident.

This is such a tragedy. I am praying for the families, friends and all the miners that God will be near them and comfort them. This will be a terrible impact on that community. Hugs, Mary

It is always so tragic no matter where in the world it happens, mothers lose sons, wives lose husbands, children lose fathers & if women were working then their lives lost causes grief. They all need our prayers & us to care.

They have been in my thoughts and prayers. We need to keep the remaining miners and all the mining families in prayer. This will be a very long and difficult time for them all.

Sally, I've been listening to the reports all afternoon - absolutely devastating to lose so many men in one mining tragedy. I think we were all hoping that they would be rescued like the Chilean miners.

We must keep all those families from Greymouth in our prayers, they are going to have a tough time - I would imagine it is a tight knit community. We visited Greymouth a couple of years ago and it was very quaint. Love and blessings Chris
