This is my first attempt to design and digitize. I have stitched it out. It turned out ok... I am asking for comments on how it looks, if I should have done something different!

It's cute and looks great.
As for comments on the digitising: great first design! Getting the outline exactly without gaps is always difficult and often a case of trial and error. In this case you might get a better result by setting the pull compensation of the filling higher, that slightly 'fattens' the filling in the direction of the stitches.
