How funny! Have you written down the things the little kids told you? You could be another Art Linkletter!
Cute story! My DD had a PacMan big wheel that her daddy took to the bike races and she raced her big wheel while big brother raced his bike. Fond memories....;)
Oh yes I remember Pac man. My oldest son loved to play that on our original computer which was DOS based. and used 3.5 floppy discs.
I also remember the hunters coming to our farm, and my dad always had to put up don't shoot tame ducks by the creek that ran through our farmland. Cindy B.
I'll bet you could write a book of funny saying from being a teacher! We never know what will come out of the little ones mouths! LOL Thank you for sharing! I remember pac-man! LOL

remember Pong, the little ball that bounced back and forth and did nothing else.
Oh Yes. My husand brought that home and we were the only ones in the neighborhodd that had that game, Oh my I am starting to feel old.
I rememberPac Man. My kids had to have an Atarai(?) I think that is what it was called. It was one of the first games that hooked up to the TV. They played Pac Man all the time!!
Ahhh, the begining of the Techno-generation. When I first saw the Bluetooth hanging on people's ears, I told my husband this was the beginning of the Borg in Star Trek.
Hihi, what's your number? 4 of 9? I love Jean-Luc Picard even when he had this machine-touch ;o) And 7 of 9 looks great!
I'm a trekkie too! So many gadgets have come from Star Trek- cell phones ( comunicators), microwaves ( replicators) just to name a few--oh and wide screen tv's!
I tell you though, there are days when I'm driving that I wish the car had photon torpedoes! That would get the idiot drivers off the road! rofl!!

When I started my new brother for the first time I was thinking of pacman again (loved tetris more ;o).
The monitor of the brother in relation to that of my janome is like comparing a pacman with "world of warcraft": Don't see the name of the file and the pic has such big pixels that I only have the heart to put one design on my USB-stick not to make mistakes taking the wrong one. Happy that my mac is just a yard away from the brother so it's not a big thing to change the designs on the stick.
That "Gobble-thing" sounds funny (and very much like a turkey :o) even when I have no idea about the meaning (thanks giving here in Germany is absolut "turkey-free" and not such a big holiday).
Greetings, Bettina
PS: Just thought isn't it a hugh progress when I saw my daughter with her nintendo. Nobody would have dreamed back then about such a small PC made just for playing and fun ;-)
lol...yep I remember Pac Man. Wouldn't you love to see that youngster now to remind them of their little error?
I remember Pac Man too, I was/am a teacher, i think once you are a teacher even if you retire you will always be a teacher, so many memories!!!!
I am a retired elementary and high school teacher and the memories never go away, but they sure make you laugh sometimes when you least expect them to .....good times as well as bad.......
