I love the music in 'White Christmas' And Hallmark movies. I just love the sappy, everything ends well movies.
I agree....Hallmark is on all the time in my house this time of year.....and White Christmas is a gem.....
Oh Yeah, remember the black and white version of Shirley Temple in Heidi??? What a classic!
I must admit to loving Miracle on 34th street - the original with Edmund Gwynn and Maureen O'Hara and Natalie Wood (she was so gorgeous even as a young girl)is the best version.
Anything with Chevy Chase is hysterical and I do love "Christmas Vacation" and all that goes wrong, but eventually rights itself.
Of course the famous "A Christmas Carol" too is one of my all time favourites. It's a great story about Ebenezer Scrooge - a miser - and how one can change if given the chance and how he becomes a better person after having 3 Christmas ghosts visit him - the past, the present and the future.
Thanks for asking this question. Love and blessings Chris
All of these are winners, i even like the kiddie ones like the grinch and rudolph. Oh can't forget Charlie Brown .
Bev
Ooh, Yes I think Charlie Brown is my favourite. I haven't seen it for years now... :-( :-(
Chris, I love your list of movies...they are all favs too for me....It is hard to pick just one....I just usually keep the hallmark channel on this time of year and watch them all.....
We love all of those, too, But, there are a couple you may not have seen that we love: Emmit Otter's Jug Band Christmas - Jim Henson muppets, .... and The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever! It tells the real Christmas story in a really fun way - always brings a tear to my eye. It has Loretta Swit in it. I actually showed it to my kids in public school!
I love James Stewart and Donna Reed in "It a Wonderful Life", Frank Capra was the director, I believe. Matter of fact - when Clarence said these words, he changed alot of peoples thinking, especially mine: "Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?" and "Remember, George: no man is a failure who has friends." That is how I feel - that we touch each others lives and we are so blessed - because we have each other as friends around the world. *4U
Oh, I love this movie and have to see it at least twice before the big day....have a merry holiday season....

A Christmas story. Poor Ralphie. It always makes me laugh. They run it all day on Christmas and I love the scene with the dogs in the kitchen and when they go to the chinese restaurant. FA RA RA RA RA RA RA. LOL
Bev
this is my hubby's favorite and he will watch it over and over and over on Christmas eve when they have the 24 hour marathon....think he and our son know every word and move......
Christmas Vacation is a good one, I love when the squirrel gets in the house! I love anything squirrels, lol. I think Miracle on 34th St. is one of my favorites.
Oh, how could I forget the kitty eating the cord? I have cats so we watch that kind of thing so there are no accidents.
I love the scene with them under the big tanker truck and all the scenes with the next door neighbors and their antics....
We always watch this one after we put up the Christmas tree. Remember the part where CC is turning pages in a book and everything is sticking to his hands because of the sap? And when Rusty says, "Dad, did you bring a saw" The outdoor snow scenes were filmed not far from us in Breckenridge Colorado. This movie got terrible reviews when it first came out. Cousin Eddie is something else!
