Is anyone going out in the wee hours of the morning for the sales? Not I, if you do be careful , have fun and don't spend too much.

I went out on Friday, but not till 11:30 am. There wasn't any doorbusters this year that made me want to get outta bed that bad. Besides now that I have an embroidery machine, I'm planning on making alot of stuff this year. I don't need to shop (except at Joann's and Yes I did get in on the buy one get one free embroidery thread deal) ;-)

Got up at 3:30 a.m. and was at the stores. Hit several before the sun came up. Had a successful shopping day. I love the Friday after Thanksgiving shopping day!! Do it every year with one of my daughters and my son. We have a great time. Just about to get a little too old though. Takes a lot out of me since I do all the Thanksgiving cooking as well.

If you have any money left after black friday today is Cyber Monday, all the bargains are online today.

I have never done the black Friday thing and I never will. There is not one bargain out there big enough to get me to do. People were in line outside the stores for hours before they even opened and then check out lines stretched to the back of the stores. I'll stay home!

When I was in Florida looking after my daughter when she had a accident I found the quitest time was in the wee hours of the morning when most people were asleep. Not much choice though, but shop was always empty except for staff

I never go to the stores on this day. Too many people, to much shoving and pushing and people act crazy. The best way for me to shop is in my jammies and on the internet. I will spend my day sewing happily. Still have about 5 things to get done before Christmas.

No way would I go near these stores. People get crazy and behave poorly. I am happy in my warm quiet home.

I wouldn't go either Karen, I hate crowds. We have a Sunday market 10 minutes away that people come from all over for and I won't go near it, because I can't move and it is just to crowded.

Bev, I have never done the Black Friday thing - too many people - the bargains must be grand - but I have never been a shopper much - mostly because I have never had money to spend - but don't think that I would do it - even if I did. I hope whomever does go out - enjoys themselves and are safe and careful. *4U

Shirlene, I have had money to spend in the past and plenty of it. not now though because, well you know the story, but I have still never been a shopper, I hate it, and I most certainly would not fight with people for a bargain.

I really don't like stores or the crowds of people in them - I would more than likely never go.

I couldn't believe it when I saw how many stores were open today, even Old Navy....ridiculous!! I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow and dread having to out in the mess to do regular shopping. Also our favorites like Joann's will be long lines now til after Christmas, YUK!!

If you can do it the best days are in the middle of the week when kids are in school , then the crowd thins out. Of course the closer it gets to Christmas the worse it gets. You can always shop online. I recommend it!

We don't have sales in the wee hours of the morning here. If we did I still wouldn't go, I am a 10 pm bedtime girl.

They call the day after Thanksgiving black Friday here in the USA, stores open at 3:00 in the morning, people even get hurt getting trampled at times, It's crazy but its something they do every year. First one in gets the bargains. This year stores were open on Thanksgiving to give everyone a head start.

I never but that together before. I get all these black Friday offers from marketing and internet companies and I did add it up before.
