I am so sorry to hear that you have one of "them"... It is hard. I like Dayquil for almost anything. I also like to use those Saline solution nasal sprays, if I have a sinus infection. I hope you feel better soon. I'll be remembering you in prayer.
Monica....I use Sinus Buster...I bought it on the internet...I have suffered sinus infections for 30 years and this stuff is great, but I will tell you it burns like all get out all the way to the back of my head (all natural ingredients which includes cayenne pepper) and boy, does it open up the sinuses.......works for me.......hope you get rid of it soon, they are so miserable......Vicki
Monica, so sorry to hear that you are not well. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs Yvonne
Monica, I feel for you dear one - take really warm/hot showers - use the steam from the shower to help clear your sinus - stay in the bathroom with the steam as long as you can - drink more warm/hot linquids. Have you ever used "Simply Saline" it is a saline solution that has no medicine - it help flush out your sinus - not back into the area where you are hurting, of coarse but clears the nose area and allows the upper sinus area room to breath. Try using a hot/cold pack on your head and neck - the hot on the neck and cold on the head - if that doesn't help - reverse it - you would be surprized how that helps. Get well dear. See the doctor if nothing else helps.
I take Zyrtec-D daily because of allergies & sinus issues. If I don't, I'm very prone to sinus infections. The D part is sudafed which has to be purchased at the pharmacy as it is a controlled substance. You can also use a very warm/hot bowl of water and put it on a table. You sit in front of the bowl, lean over it and put a towl over your head and bowl. I works like taking a shower or washing dishes where the steam will open your sinuses and make them run. Helps clear the crud out. Just don't make the water boiling hot because you'll burn yourself with the steam. Super hot tap water should work okay.

I know what you mean. I battled this for two weeks took everything I could think of. Got soom Mucinex D and the first dose I could tell that it was helping me.
I'm sorry to hear that you're suffering such a bad headache! You're right, it's hard to get anything done when you have one.
I live in KY which is considered one of the 'allergy capitals of the world.' Best thing I've found to get rid of a sinus headache is Tylenol Allergy Sinus (daytime or nighttime whichever you need) and a warm washcloth pressed against your face/sinuses for 5-10 min. Mine get much better within 15-30 min. with these two things. HTH
Get well soon!

I have had one for days also. My allergies have given me a fit this year. In the Atlanta area, we have only had one hard freeze this fall. I still have hanging baskets of geraniums on my porch. Can you believe that it is almost December? Kay
