Thanks for all your ideas on how to fix my loss of PED-Basic! I am up and running, had to uninstall it (didn't know how till last night!) and then install and then go to Brother and update 1.07!

what kind of computer operating system do you have? i tried that and mine still won't work right. mine is windows 7 64 bit

Windows XP but I don't know much about it, without my son who does computer stuff for a living I can't do much.
