I have a good selection right now, but was looking and don't have a lot of lighter blue colors and that is probably because it is my least favorite color. I guess I'll head to the store payday and see if there is a blue that I like. :P)
I just recieved a big order from Allstitch. I order once or twice a year to keep up since i cannot get much of anything here. I ordered reds and golds, some whites and blues. Any colors I use a lot of I try to get in the big spools. So I am well stocked with colors and shades as well as vareigated thread for months to come. Happy stitching.
I have a 61 spoool set in Brothers colors, a 61 spool set from Metro and 61 colors of varigated colors. I wont need to buy thread for quite some time. I also have 100 spools of CTS that I haven't even opened.
I have lots of browns, pinks, greens & blues..I need more fleshy tones & reds & purples....(must be low on flesh from the santa's...LOL)
I bought the 166 colors from metroemb so I have some of everything but I go through lots of black and white and I replenish those locally. Right now using a TON of christmas red but I was smart and bought two spools the last time! I have some florescent colors in my metro pack that I don't think I would ever use (although I like greysewist thought of embroidering on dog collars with it).
I'm heading to the store today to get black. But I don't have many reds, so I might have to get some of that, too.
I have many spoons of differents colours, because I am always looking for the exact shade of colours that I want for a design. But I find difficultly differents red and yellow.
I have not ever found the "lemon yellow "that i am looking for.
I am actually well supplied right now. Whenever Joann's has a good sale I always use my coupon and buy some thread. If anything I think I will have to get some beige and black as my next purchase.
The place I buy from is on sale this very week, but haven't managed to get there or order yet. Top of my list, believe it or not, is Fluoro Lime Green thread! I use it for identification on dog collars, instead of risking key tags which tend to get ripped or chewed. For my own embroidery, I like lots of beige and browns and blues.
I need Christmas colors the most red, green, gold and silver
Ugh.......I need blues....Embroidex # 408 to be exact...hehehehhe
Ordered from singertexas.com and they substituted a different color that I CAN'T use...what the heck is up with that???? Now they won't email or call me?
Customer service??? I didn't ask for substitutes.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Hugs
I have loads of pinks, mauve and green. I love all the soft colours. I do not have hundreds of colours like I know a lot of Cuties do. I am inclined to buy small reels at first and if I use the colour a lot I then buy the bigger size. I do need to get a few more browns/ beige.
As most of my embroidery to date centred round Vestments I use mainly red, green, gold, purple & white
Today I ran out of red 3/4 of the way through a FSL ornament! I have tons of pastel greens, pink and lavenders. Did just buy spools in darker tones but gotta hit the store for red!
there is always that one color that you need more of. Get a big spool of red for the Christmas season!
