I was excited to join in bevintex's secret santa, I have a lady in america to send a parcel to but nobody want to post out of america so I miss out on a parcel.

Very disapointed, Mcgraw

I am a little slow on things sometimes and didn't catch this at all. I hope next year to be able to join in with the secret santa. Such a lovely idea.

This is all very confusing! We must start earlier next year and let it all take more time. I did think that 10 days would be enough for everyone to see the details. Unfortunately I was wrong. To save more time I matched the Santas and Santees up so that very few had to post to another continent.
Relax everybody!

Maybe we should ask Miss Veronika next year if it is possible to make a not at the top. Tried sometimes to put the post back ttt but it seems that there were some people missing both secret santas (did they preparing for a big wintersleep?).
Anyone for a 3rd round ;o) (no, just joking...)
Greetings, Bettina

Hehehe Beverly I have my "private" 3rd round and I have still many customerorders to do so I'm happy with my 3 secret santas for this year ;o) By the way thank you for organizing this second santa!

I should really be writing this to Sue as I think the whole secret Santa was her idea. I feel terribly guilty that I did not join in. Over the years (I am in South Africa) I have lost so many parcels - due to them being stolen. I used to always send parcels overseas for birthdays and Christmas but not any more. It is just too upsetting when things go missing having spent a lot of time and money. I hope I will be forgiven. Sarah.

The Secret Santa was Sues idea, i got involved when people had missed out and thought maybe I could help. did'nt mean to mess it up. I give Sue all the credit for putting it together because i know her job was alot more difficult than mine.

I would have volunteered to do this but I completely missed the boat on the whole secret Santa thing.

I am glad there was someone else willing to step up.

I wouldn't care how much postage is, if you sign up to do something you should be willing to put yourself out there.

There are many postage options that the USPS does NOT tell you about, the only way you find out is to go online and look up their choices and postage calculator. You will be amazed at how they try and rip you off by only offering you the most expensive service, unless you KNOW about your options.

I buy a LOT of goods from the States, have done for years and sellers are often surprised when I tell them of the choices they didn't know they had.

All's well that ends well!
hugs n love, Meganne

Sorry to hear this has happened to you I have organized for you to have a secret santa in Australia. If people are not willing to make the effort they should not have accepted the challenge. What happens to the person you need to send a gift to Here is your special fairy

Shirlene, thank you for offering to help but it has been taken care of. You have more than enough on your plate

the problem was no one wanted to ship overseas because of the extra cost. I apologized to McGraw and feel really bad the way it worked out,Maybe Secret Santa was'nt one of my best efforts. I wanted everyone to have a chance to get in on it and did'nt realize what i was getting into. But I did my best and won't apologize for trying. I did have some overseas Santas and after much effort got them all a match. Mcgraw was my only failure and I am sorry.

Sometimes for all your best effort something doesn't go quite as expected. Couldn't be helped.

bevintex by bevintex 01 Dec 2010

I still felt at fault, but it worked out for all. Cuties are the best .

Cuties really are the best. I have never felt more a part of things than I have here.

As you know I was a little dissapointed that Sue was searching somebody for me on the same continent in the first secret santa cause I thought it is the real fun that we are a worldwide group. So I'm happy that I can send now allover the world (France, Southamerica and a non-secret-santa to my dear pennifold in australia :o)
For me it is a real challenge making some special but tiny gifts so I don't need to send big parcels and make a big treasure anyway.
Greetings, Bettina

It was the constraint of time that made it necessary - next year it can be world-wide!
