They certainly picked the right person for the job. They look great.
I wasn't so sure about that when she asked me to do them, i was a bit anxious, I do embroidery, not dress making. But it turned out well in the end.
Congratulations, they were very pretty, you did a great job.****
Absolutely beautiful job. I think they will necome treasured keepsakes.
Karen that is exactly what I was thinking when I was making them, these are like trophies that someone will want to keep forever, so they best not fall apart.
these are sashes fit for a queen, you should be proud of your work and I'll bet this brings you even more orders, You are going to be busy
Bev
Thanks Bev, I am hoping that I get some referrals from it, it is quite exiting to be part of something like this, even if it is a small part.
Was there any doubt that she would love them? They're gorgeous.
I am very critical of my own work, even this morning I was still in bed thinking, "I could have done this bit better". But others don't look as closely at our work as we do I guess.
Very nice. I can see why the organizer loved them. You did a great job on them.
Where did you get the fringe? I have been looking for some to finish a special project, but haven't found any locally. It looks really full and regal in the photo - I like it very much.
I am not sure where you are, but this was from Lincraft a local sewing and craft supply chain in Australia, It is just standard fringe but it is folded about 3 times to give it the fullness. I folded it then stitched it before putting it on.
Alice
Truly amazing, Alice!!!
Thanks Vicky, It was kind of fun to do something different. but I did have a tight deadline. I was glad she was happy with them.
wow these are nice....they look too fancy to be a sash.....great job......
I think they will look great on those African beauties, I can't wait to see the pics.
Very nice job Alice! Isn't it wonderful when you complete something and the person loves it?
It sure it is, it is even better when they say thank you with a great big smile and a wad of cash. lol.
They turned out really nice. Did you put the fabric on the edges or did the ribbon come with it on it? Fringe on the edge is a nice touch.
Thank you. It was not Ribbon, it was party silk so it is a double layer. It has cording stitched into the winners one.
Alic
here they are.
Those are beautiful... Love the print mixed with the satin. Wonderful job Alice!
