congratulations i also love irish dancing hope he goes a long with it
It's lots of fun to watch and lots of cardio that is used. LOL... too much for me... I too, hope he goes a long way with it. It might pay for his college tuition later on. hehehe.
Thanks for sharing his picture links - now how many of those pictures are you ordering? Did you embroider his vest?
hehehe... I'll order at least a set. LOL... My daughter does the embroidery on the Irish things. However I think she bought this vest, but I know she is working on another for him...She did bling out the tie. LOL...
How fantastic for you Terre - I love watching Irish dancing. I hope we will see much more of him in the years to come. He is a good looking young lad.
Love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris. He is a very intelligent young man too. He wants to study Aerospace dynamic Engineering. His goal is to go to the same Military school his dad went to first. :) We'll see...You know how things change...lol
Quite handsome young man, I see why you are so proud of him.
Well that is something to be proud of!!!
Bless his heart, he has worked very hard on this. The competition is pretty tough for the boys, let alone the girls.
well done zane! im in ireland and that comp is always well publised on the news and newspapers!ill keep an eye out for his name!
I'm wanting to go, but we will see. If I do are you near Dublin? That is where it will be 2011.
Ment to say if you are looking to fly over try www.aerlingus.ie or delta, they seem to do the cheapest direct flights to Usa from Shannon and dublin airport here. Hope this helps!
That is wonderful! I know he is very proud! You need to get him on camera dancing and share it with all of us!
I have him on camera from March but he has come such a long way since then. I'll have to share with you anyway.
Here is a link to a picture of my grandson on the podium. He's a handsome thing. :)(a little biased there).hehehe
Terre he is a really cute boy; would became a heartbreaker with that face and when he starts to dance...WOW ;o)
Greetings, Bettina
Know wonder you are so proud, he is very hansome young man. Congratulations to him.
Wow! No wonder you're so proud! I wish him luck and "congrats" to you both!
Congratulations! Wow, no wonder you are proud, good luck in the finals, I am sure he will do great.
Wow such a talented family :o) Believe that you are proud!
Hope you can post many pics instead of television. my daughter loves "Lord of the dance" but we have here not so many possibities to learn this kind of dance.
Greetings, Bettina
Awww, Bettina, I know she would enjoy learning to dance like that. My youngest grandson Ethan (7) started this year. He was the late bloomer of the 4 all others began Irish dance when they were 4 and 5. ;)I would love to be able to go to Ireland to watch. We will see. I might have to raise money locally as a non profit, hehehee. Not really, I'll just save up as best I can. They each have to raise their money for the worlds, so he performs at different places and people donate money to help the cause.
When is the Championship? Ireland is not so far away for me and I often get the NL from Air Lingus with special offers for flight to Ireland ;o)
Bettina, it is in March 2011, I would truly love to go, maybe, we will see.:)
So you have to be quite buse on etsy to earn the money for the flight to Ireland :o)
After all his hard training this is a gratifying moment to share.
Very cool! Hope your GD does as well too! Keep us posted!
This is soooo Cooool... When is the World's Championship? We need to keep up with this!!!! And good luck to your Granddaughter!*
Wonderful...I know you're a proud granny as I can see your smiling face as I type and you have every right to be. Hope he wins. Keep us posted.
Thank you. These are pretty tough competitions, so we will see. If you go to youtube and type in worlds irish dance2010, you can see the one dance that everyone does at the end of the competition. It is the only dance they normally will let you post because it isn't a copyright dance.
Congratulations! Is it going to be televised? Don't forget to email me so I can keep an eye out for the big Event.
Hugs n roses, Meganne
World's will be in Dublin Ireland. Not sure if it is televised or not. Usually they aren't because of the copyrights on the choreography. Pretty serious stuff these Irish dances are. :) My granddaughter dances tomorrow so we will see what happens. She is the one that was in a Riverdance production in Charlotte this past September.
