I love liver as long as I don't have to cook it....I have a problem with anemia, so your diet would probably be good for me, but we don't have a juicer anymore....hope you continue to do well....blessings Janet
Your diet is sounding quite a bit like mine, post gall bladder surgery, Margie :) The fruit & veg juices are good and easily digested. I'm on no grease, as well, but I don't think I could force myself to join you in eating liver -yikes! hope you enjoy it, though, and are back to wellness very soon :) I was a blood donor years ago, so had my haemoglobin tested regularly then :)
have your doctor run a genetics test on you if your hemoglobin count keeps dropping. mine did years ago and found that i had thalasemia (sp?). both of my parents "original" roots came from teh mediterranian, so genetic abnormalities can be carried down the pipeline for generations.
Dear maggiePink,
I have seen you message here in the cuties and loved to hear that you use the juices therapy. For years I use the carrot juicy in the morning before breakfast but mine is carrot, apple and celery. Yumm, it is deliciouss. I have the book JUYCES WRITTEN BY dR. wALKER. And now I want to purchase his other books as for diet and salads. He is great.
Hugs and blessings,
Telma
Hi Margie. My Dr's here say haemoglobin should be between 115-165. Before my by-pass mine was 139.Since my heart by-pass 6 years ago mine has been between 105-114. I have had a colonoscopy, gastroscopy, iron injections, bone marrow test (ouch) and am now having 3 monthly Vitamin B12 injections (for the rest of my life) and it has gone up to 116 (in the black). I just hope your concoction works for you. Just keep an eye on your sugar intake. Love Marg
