This is my second quilt, I made it for my son for Christmas. He's in the Air Force and has been for 20 years now. He just got back safely from Iraq. He loves to hunt and fish and would like to retire in Alaska. It has eagles, bears and wolves embroidered on it/

30391This is truly beautiful! I hav 2 sons and 2 grandsons so I always like to see others projects that are *manly* I think this is a very versatile design as far as colors or emb. designs go. I think I may kinda copy this a little if you don't mind! Some blues and turquoises and some fishing designs for my fly fisher!

13558Very beautiful. Do let your son know that we support our troops, and good luck to him. My grandson is in the Air Force too, but he is a "newbie" - only 5-6 months. Still in training, but has decided that he want to make it a career. Keep up with the lovely quilts.
