Why if I download and select my machines format (jef), is will only give my a index.php

As a rule I have no problem downloading .jef. Only once did I get a different format instead. So does it happen all the time or just in a specific case. If it's the latter, you could try to get it solved by going to "contact us" at the bottom of the page.
