I want to sent as many quilts as possible to this cause. Want to join me??? http://cindysembroiderydesigns.co...

There is a group to join at this link. Our wounded Soldiers deserve something besides an army blanket.

I have a fairly new Bernina 440 and at present have no problems. BUT whne I got it the machine just wouldn't load or do anything - new laptop still gave me problems only to discover dongle was faulty. Problem is I had taken two yeards to get going with result it was out of guarantee! I have bought Editor Plus V6 and have not had time to "Play" so hope to do so before the warranty expires!

I am so sorry you have to wait so long for repair. I feel so blessed to have bought my Ellageo from great people. I live about 60 miles one way from the store, and I call and make an appt. Just this past week, a screw fell out of the head! I frantically called the next day, and Ron, the owner, said bring it in tomorrow(luckily my day off). I had used her so much I vibrated a screw loose! Now I have no more excuses-my screws are tight. He also cleaned it up, adjusted the cutter, and put in a new light bulb. I have a paid plan with them, so it cost me nothing. And I got to go to JoAnn Fabrics. Could have shopped all over, but just wanted to get home before rush hour.

I am beginning to think the talk of a second machine is sounding better and better. Mine will be going in soon and I am sure to have withdrawls.

I hope my machine doesn't break down....it is only a year old so maybe not...our state quilt guild makes quilts for the family for those lost and our guild makes one for a soldier that is wounded and returned to our counth....it is really a great feeling....

My janome was a diva since the beginning and then she had a total breakdown in november (and so many customer-orders to do). So I picked up my machine and drove among 4 hours to the shop because I don't wanna send their and wait for weeks. Had made a deal a week before that I wanna buy a second machine just for the case that ;o)
They could persuade my janome to work again (maybe they told her that otherwise she has to go to a drill-camp *lol*) and I went home with 2 working machines (my new is a brother; like her really but the monitor is a disaster when you used to have a janome: Like playing pacman again when you had played Supermario before :o).
Greetings, Bettina

What is it with repairers or our machines nowadays. Like you bettyboop13 mine was away for weeks, have just got it back. I decided to buy another machine. Have just bought a Janome on special. Hope to continue embroidering if either one is in the workshop. I also plan to make 2011 an embroidery year, not much has been done of late, and wish I had those elves like in the poem. Merry Xmas to everyone. Cheers Sandra.
