thanks - my husbands daughter gave me heck a couple yrs ago because her dad was still working! I told her - what's he going to do if he quits? If he quits he's got nothing to make sure he gets up in the morning and something to do - to many end up with prob., etc. if they quit to soon and have no hobbies or anything.
That's where the whining would come in, yup, yup!!!!!
Who knew? My dad was a "do-er" not a whiner. I wasn't prepared! Tee-hee.
Isn't that the truth!? although my honey doesn't whine, he likes his "snooches" (naps), and sometimes it stops me from making noise when I do some sewing or vaccuming, but that's a minor thing considering what he's going through with chemo and such.
Thanks again for the humor. It's beautiful

Thanks Vicki. Someone *significant* is soon to retire. I'll bear this in mind and make sure he doesn't become a husband, perhaps! :)
Have to admit this is very true. But I have to keep in mind also,he doesnt have the "guys" to complain to anymore .
How true but you should add "and gets bored " after RETIRED. Husband was happy after he retired until health problems started to interfer his life style, now he is bored.
At the moment he is whining about being in hospital while waiting for a pacemaker on Thursday. His heart stops beating for 6 seconds at time while he sleeps at night so he is hooked up to a machine which alerts the nurses who come racing in to wake him up before anything really bad happens. He doesn't even know this has happened& I suppose he could die in his sleep if the event went on too long. The good news is that the operation takes 40 minutes & he should be home the next day but he is still whingeing.Hospital stay is only one week all up
Best of luck to you as well as him for a great recovery-oops looking at the date, he'll be all over it now, and hopefully you will, as well!
Lots of luck and best wishes to your husband. My husband has a pacemaker since his by pass. Wonderful things!!!
Thank you what a great design will use for my sister in law, she is a very patient woman deserves a medal, my brother is the eternal whinger
Thank you! This is perfect for my life! Probably won't be able to use this until after Christmas, but it is so appropriate. My husband is a constant complainer(just like his Mother). He tells everyone he meets all about his injuries, aches & pains. We take our daughter for surgery, & he tells everyone who walks into her room about HIS problems. But I bet this hurts his feelings. LOL Thanks again. I'm going to have some fun.
I like that, my kids are grown and hubby retired 13 months ago.......need I say more?
He he , I HAVE to make something with this on it as my Mother in law is always saying this about my father in law! But they are both GOOD people. Kathy
I JUST LOVE IT!! I have recently retired and now I know why I kept working for so long! I took up some part-time work - "to keep my hand in"...?
Thank you so much for sharing. Kindest regards, Bev
