These FSL napkin rings really appealed to me but I've always maintained "you only get what you pay for" and this design was very cheap.

So putting up with unnecessary jump stitches, (that I had to try and remove later), having to hand stitch around the outside of all the yellow centres and many of the green sections, where it came apart after dissolving the WSS, was to be expected. I was still very disappointed though, because this design is from a well known, professional digitiser. Sorry, I can't recommend.

At least the end result looks pretty good.
Thanks for peaking. hugs n roses, Meganne

Never know it after your fix me up, they're beautiful. Sad when you get a less than desirable design....

Thanks Jerrilyn. There was over 200,000 stitches in the six stitch-outs and I was up all night with two machines going, so when I say I was less than happy having to hand stitch them to hold them together ...................

Meg, the end result is lovely - I too hate it when I get a design - that I know what it could be and find all the troubles - especailly jump stitches - then to have to fall apart or have to repair it to have a good design in the end is so frustating. I would have been wanting this set - but not now - Hehehe! *4U

When I get more time I will repair the designs so that they will stitch out better as I really like the end result, the metallic gold just makes them. Hugs n love, Meg

yes, it does. it has to be handy - to know how to repair a design that goes bad.

Despite all the frustrations they are lovely. I would not have had your patience.

It was more a matter of running out of time to make anything else, so I had to 'fix' these. LOL!!!

Wow, I would have lost patience after the second one didn't go so well. But also, I would have had a ton sewn up before they hit the water so I would not have been as kind in this post as you were. They look great though so try to enjoy them!

I stitched them all in the one large hoop (Viking) so the problems became apparent with all of them as soon as I started wetting them. The (Secret Santa) recipient really liked them so alls well that ends well. :-)

These are lovely - but we do understand some of the frustrations with some designs. But, you have done an excellent job.

Your napkin rings are very pretty and I love the color. *4U I agree with you the cheap designs just can't compair in quality to the expensive ones. Merry Christmas!

Thanks Juanita. Some cheap designs can be fantastic, but mostly they're not. :-)
