nothing, I have no idea what doing nothing means. Anyhow I am going to park myself in front of the telly with an ice pack. Not sure how long I will cope with that, I will catch you all when my arm is not so sore.

Listen to your husband and son. I know that is difficult but they are probably right. Get better soon. Sarah.

Thanks Sarah, My son is a personal trainer so I have no doubt that I should listen to him.

I have been resting all day and it is not any better, Mind you I am not really sure that I understand the concept of rest. I have done some laundry today.

Rest should help; when you do return to typing, try taking breaks more often, changing position; prolonged strain usually makes things worse. I avoided tendinitis while practising piano or typing by resting when I felt pain. please take care...

I guess RSI is the same as an overworked muscle. I am very sure I just pushed myself to hard at the gym

Now come on Alice - we all know what you've been doing!!!! You've been working too hard on the sewing machine! It most probably is like RSI but in the top of your arm!

Make sure you do rest it. Love and blessings Chris

Hi Chris, I definitely think it was the gym.

I hope your arm feels better soon. Did you do something that created that problem? Like stretch to far or pick up something heavy?? Hugs, Mary
