That's all I would know is are you downloading to the proper format for your machine or software. Shouldn't matter about the zip. It needs to be unzipped in the proper format to be used by your machine. Good luck.

what windows are you running? I have win7 and it unzips them on it's own I do not need any other program.
but they do have free programs to unzip files.
I searched cnet for you and put link below for unzip software you can go through and check out the ratings and things. I trust cnet programs and DL that is why I always go to thier site when looking for a free program

In designs by cuties you can't upload zipped designs. But I really don't understand, a machine needs unzipped files in the right format. What machine do you have and what format does it use?

Do you mean unzipped? There are some free programs out there for unzipping, maybe others can give links. Some designs you can download the format you request, others are zipped into a file that contains many formats or just multiple designs of the same format. It takes less space and time to download, but you have to have a unzip program to use the designs. Linda

I have a brother 350,pes is the format, I can't get the designs to a place that I can put them on my ped basic card. I use to be able to use the designs before the change to the down loads., aleene
