I'm not certain the software that you use. Possibly the color changes are from each letter being different. Can you color sort to minimize the colors? What font are you wanting for your lettering? I can try to do something for you - PM me if you are interested in me trying this for you.
Thank you. I wish I had asked before but I have most of the lettering done. I am going to just separate the letters from the design and keep going. I know the letters are all different colors and it is annoying but I don't know how to change the color in Customizer. I just want to know why each letter makes two files--one the letter and one worthless except to mess of the number of thread changes. I am not a total novice at this and have created my own wording before. This font is wacky. I have had other problems with it. Like one letter will not stay on the same line with the others.
