Also twice an unwanted porn site has jumped onto my screen whilst perusing cute. Has this happened to anyone else? Sometimes the screen jumps to a site called 'findstuff' when trying to get on to Cute. HELP!

I's also like to point you to some other posting I've recently done on "secure" browsing (see link and a bit down the comments where you can see my "rolling die"). It is not a solution for your problem, but a suggestion for anybody concerned with "safe" webbrowsing.

It's surely some security settings in your web-browser, as suedewesbury has written. Just tell us, if the problem has been solved or you need continued help.
The automatic "redirection" to findstuff is more worring though. If you haven never set this search-provider to your "default" and are not using a specific browser which has this search engine as "default", then it is not unlikely that some malware has reconfigured your PC. DO NOT USE SENSITIVE INFORMATION (e.g. banking account) FROM THIS PC - until you have resolved that issue. I'll have a quick look into the "findstuff" topic on some forums... hang on.

Hmm, googling "findstuff" and "malware" a bit, I found my suspicions justified. It seem you've got some malware on your PC now. My guess would be, that your "recent debugging" of the PC was done with some software which in itself wasn't "safe" but rather a fake. This is a guess, however. You have to tell us, what has been done.
Anyway, I'm posting some links I found on the net, which might help you. The MAIN THING is, don't do anything which could compromise any sensitive data from your PC, until you have savely solved the issue!

It sounds as if your PC has been told not to accept cookies. If you can get this reversed in security settings (as keeponsewing says) you should be OK. Good luck.

I am using the free Mozilla Firefox Webbrowser and love it.
When typing a password, the programm asks, if you want to save it or not (small bar on top of window).
If yes, you will never have to type it in, until a system cleaning is done (but of course I do this regularly).
And unwanted Pop ups are suppressed.
Maybe you want to give this a try- it is said to be better and safer than the windows explorer.

There are two ways to go about this. One is you have to go into your computer and reset your security, or you can ask Veronika about this site by leaving a PM to "test" That is her sign-on name here. Hope this was a little bit helpful
