Can some one tell me where the FSL cardinal is located? Has there ever been a freebie of a fsl cardinal? Thanks!

I just finished the FSL freebie from Gorgeous Stitches and doubt I will ever try it again. The design is very dense and the outline stitches on the wing outside didn't catch and unraveled. I used tons of WSS and what was supposed to take 25 min. ended up close to an hour and half. I'm really disappointed in this design and hope if anyone else tries it they are successful.
You're better off buying Sonia's. Her designs stitch beautifully. :-)

This one stitches out beautifully - I did one for each of my siblings - Cardinals were the favorite bird for our mother - so it meant a little momory of mother for each of them when they opened their cards last year.

Can't find it. It shows my design order as processing but I did it hours ago and still can't find any download place to click.

It seems I have not had much time to prepare for Christmas for all of the Dec birthdays in out family. My Son ,DIL, Grand daughter, My lifetime best friend, and very dear friend whose kids I raised yrs ago with my own has birthdays this month, plus mine is the day after Christmas. December is a very full month in this family! It has been non stop and since I do not get around very well, the only decoration I have put up is a wreath on the door. I may be very slow but hey, at least I can still get around and live alone with my furbabies. Hugs, Linda

I have 3 cakes to make today and 2 of them are B-days and the 3rd is a Thank You to a special person that did a wonderful favor for me out of the kindness of her heart. Today is my DIL' B-day and the 16th was my son's but he had a bad virus so I am making them a cake together. My grand-daughter and 2 son's are getting her Birthday Cake late because I could not get to her house on the real day! It was snowing and I was afraid it would get bad before I could get there and back home. It did snow off and on that day but the raisns came and it warmed a bit ...No snow. I have 2 going 3 hrs away hopefully before Christmas. Then.. we are going to my other grand-daughter's house for Christmas and I am doing the desserts and most likely the dressing. No one else in the family can seem to please very many with their dressing. This will be my 1st time going to see her new home. She is not local and her family came home for Thanksgiving. This should be interesting..but that is a story for another day when I have some time and not running btwenn the computer and the kitchen. heehee of course, I am sure it is not funny to her!
