I made the dress and embroidered the train with 41 x the same design along the edge. It is attached by hooks under the leaves and flowers. Unfortunately the embroideries hardly show up at this scanned picture (it did at the original).

Your work on you daughter's dress is lovely - I am sure of it - it would have been nice to see it closeup - but one can tell - by this that only love of a mother could and would attempt this on her duaghter's wedding day - keep up the good work and love for your family.
