Dear Lee, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love and blessings, Yoriko
Debra....I pray for a New Year of health for you, with many blessings coming your way, do keep us informed as we are all sister-in-stitches here and care about one another. Vicki
No this wasn't a waste of my reading time. Now I know who I am going to be keeping in my prayers. Feel free to let me know what is going on so that my friends and I can get some powerful prayers going for you!
God Bless! Please have a Happy New Year!!!
Dawn
No waste. It is good to share and relieve some of the stress you must be feeling. Good Bless
Debra, thank you for sharing this information with us. I will keep you in my prayers, and certainly think of you often. Don't worry about inconveniencing others; if someone does not have time to read, they just won't. I am sorry that you have the stress of not knowing what is happening with your body, and I wish answers were available. Perhaps you can use this time to help someone else out, who needs help. Day care centers, senior centers, homes for foster children, places for abused women and their children are all examples of places where we can reach out and help others. It will help you by getting your mind off of your own condition, and you will make friends and give much needed assistance.
I pray that God blesses you in every way and that he brings you complete healing.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Jacqueline
Not a waste at all/ Keep the faith lee/ From this RNs viewpoint I think you are doing well./
Wasn't a waste at all, now we know exactly how to pray. Sounds like you were covered well.;)
no it was not a waste now i know how/what to pray for you :):)carolyn
Debra,
It's never a waste of one's reading time to listen to a friend. From time to time, we all at some point need to just
let it out, to help relieve the tension built from jumping over the hurdles life has a way of throwing at us! From what you say, all sounds positive regarding none have changed size, blood work normal, and you are soon to the 1 year point past chemo! I take that as a very good report! Merry Christmas, dear, and may the Lord bless you in 2011 with your BEST year yet!!
Angel
YEAH! We will continue to pray for you! Have a wonderful Christmas! Suzanne
That's fabulous news Debra - I'll keep praying that no new spots appear. I pray that your next CT scan in March will bear positive results for you. Live life to the full, love and blessings Chris
Thank you Chris! I stay positive and take things one day at a time just as they happen. When my asthma doctor told me they found something and it wasn't a good something I told him let's do what we have to do, no sense crying or worrying over something we can't change so let's get on with it.
Debra, this was not a waste of reading time! I am so happy that nothing has grown. You have always had such kind words for my husband, you have been there and know what we have gone thru. God Bless and have a very Merry Christmas. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Carl's next cat scan is in March also, so we will continue to pray that all will be well. Carol
Well, Carl and I are on the same schedule so we can keep track of each other, lol. When the nurse set up the next appointment with the doc I told her that would be exactly one year from my last chemo treatment and she got goosebumps from that! I am considering myself cancer free! I wish you a very Merry Christmas too and hope that 2011 brings us all nothing but good news!
Dear Debra - this was not a waste of anybody's reading time. It is so good to hear that none of the spots have changed. Wonderful news. Hugs Sarah
Debra, Never think sharing is a waste of time, we are all here to listen and it really helps, you are in my thoughts always..Hugs Sally
There is comfort in faith and hope that you are continuing to heal. Blessings to you and your family during this holiday season.
Never a waste of time when something needs to be said and I hope you feel better posting this....I look at this as good news that the spots are small and there are no new ones.....thanks for sharing with us, I will be praying for you........Gods blessings to you and hubby.....Janet
That's what we are here for - to offload when necessary. Sometimes it helps just to talk. God Bless and Hugs - we just pray everything works out well
Thank you, it is always good when people care about you, gives you an extra boost!
Same thing is happening to me when the nodes on my thoat, just wai and pray while we wait,He heals. There is never a waste of time reading about a friend, and we are more than that, we are the cute family. Love and hugs to you.***
Thanks Maria, hope your nodes turn out to be nothing. The cute family is a strong one!
Deb, please don't think sharing such an important thing in your life a waste of our time. We need to know how to pray and this helps us. Praise God they haven't grown anymore.
Have a blessed Christmas. Hugs, Judy
Thank you, I plan on having a good Christmas eve with parents, brother, sons and DIL the just a quiet Christmas day with hubby.
9 mm must be the size which is small, if its too small to do a biopsy. This is not a waste of my reading time, take care and look after yourself and keep us informed
Yes, I guess Terre let me know the difference, they are all very small. Last year I think the one they removed part of my lung with was 13mm so they are really watching this one close, every 3 months.
Praise the Lord Deb, it is probably 9mm because 9 cm is the size of a softball. I'm so glad to hear this good news. God is good. Be sure to give Him the glory. Hugs, T
Thanks for letting me know Terre, I am surprised my hubby didn't know that, he's a smart guy. So, yeah, no growth and no new ones is very good news. I just know that every time they do a CT scan they put in more radiation that can cause the problem to get worse but have to do it to keep tabs on it so it's a vicious circle. I am staying positive that I am going to be fine and live into my 80's like my Dad's family though Dad is only 74.
No wasted time here - just the Power of Prayers being answered.
I am so pleased about your news and will keep praying for you.
Look forward to the future and leave everything else in His hands... I have discovered He does a better job of it than I do anyway!
Prayers and laughs coming your way....
Fiona
Thank you. When it all started happening a year and a half ago I decided that there was nothing I could do to change it so I am rolling with it and staying positive. If I need more surgery I'll do it, if I need chemo again, I'll do it.
Deb, I do believe that we have a prayer answered here - I am glad that you gave us an update - we will continue to pray that the spots do not grow. Please know that we care for you and I feel this is good news, rather than bad. *4U
