Sorry to hear about your machine. You are lucky to have a daughter near and with a machine you can borrow. Hope you complete the sewing

I completed everything today. WHEW! Just in time. But I can't wait for my machine. Didn't realize how attached I had gotten. :)

Good luck on your embroidery withdrawal. Consider it a well deserved break from embroidering every day. At least you will have more time to spend with your family until you get your machine back. Have a very merry Christmas!

Thank you Anita... it was great spending time with the grands yesterday while my daughter and I finished up the embroidering.

Terre, mine is acting up also. Waiting until the first of the year so I can buy a new one. I'm doing some sewing instead, gotta keep crafting and I have plenty of ideas brewing in my mind. Hope the news from the shop is good news and it's something minor. Enjoy the holiday.

Oh, Terre, I understand - I took mine in today. The upper tension they believe is broken. They will call me tomorrow and give me the news. If it is indeed broken and parts have to be ordered - it will be 1 to 2 weeks before I receive it. I still have a couple of important things to finish up - but, they don't have a loaner I can use. I am forced to just wait!! Good luck finishing your projects!!

Thanks Laura, yes mine started this morning as I was stitching out one of the blankets, it chewed a hole in the blanket, I literally had to cut the blanket out from the bobbin and then I figured I'd ruined the blanket so I'd try it again and not only did it do the same thing, but I had a HUGE fuzz ball collection in the bobbin. Don't understand it because I'd just cleaned everything out this morning before I started. You would think that some of these places would have something like a "rent a machine" hehehe... I'm just thankful my daughter isn't too far and we can get everything done, hopefully all tomorrow. :)

I hope they can repair it soon and it's nothing major. You're lucky you have a backup plan. Merry Christmas!

Reva, they said it would be ready by next week, so it won't be too bad. Maybe I'll get some house work done after I return from my daughters. She lives 45 miles away so I will spend all day and hopefully we will complete everything.

Alice, thanks, I've had w/d all day today thinking about what I have to do. It would be okay if it was for me, but not all of it is. Thank the good Lord my daughter has an embroidery machine... :)
