You need to find a way to delete, block, and report these annoying emails. Did a google search and found some links. Don't know if they work where you live but you could do your own search. Some people shouldn't be allowed to be near a computer.

I could do that but I am not being sent the emails, they are using the tell a friend function on my website to send emails to other people. So it looks like they are coming from my email address. So if someone reports them it would mean that when I send emails to people they may be blocked. getting spam is bad enough, at least you can ignore that. I think I have fixed it though. I wil have to wait and see.

I hate spam email, but maybe others don't. I know I am tired of people offering vicodin, viagra,dates, how to enlarge parts of the male body, etc., I never open them, but they keep coming.Some people don't have sewing machines and just like to bother others, LOL...good luck.

Yes I think they should all get sewing machines and leave us all alone. I hate it too. and you can't email them and ask them to stop because they are using other peoples email addresses to do it.

Spammers will do anything to get their spam out to email inboxes. The better the spam detection programs get, the more the inventive the spammers get.

If no one clicked on the spam emails and bought anything, then spam would stop. Apparently, some people buy stuff from spammers. I think I read that 95% of all email was spam. What a headache.

from reading all your comments I am now aware of the problems caused to the website owners when it gets hijacked. From my point of view spam is a pain but to you it appears to be much worse. Alice I hope the problems can be sorted soon

No Karen it is not harmless or fun, but they don't care. It may well be that the intention is to have my website shutdown but more likely it is to get there affiliate links for some rubbish product through that spam filters.

Alice, this sort of thing makes so sense to me either - just mischeif and for whatever reason the sort of people that does this kind of thing - have no life - but want to ruin yours - it is pointless. *4U I will be praying for you dear.

Thank you Shirlene, I think the point is to send emails that sell stuff like viagra and replica watches, that sort of thing, it keeps the spam filters from picking it up and lets the sender fill peoples emails up with junk they don't want. the problem is that when it gets reported as spam then the spam filters on yahoo and gmail will filter out my email address and I won't be able to send emails to anyone. It could also get my site taken down. So worse case it could be a competitor trying to sabotage me, but that is unlikely, I am not that much of a threat.
