:} Hi Alice - No flooding here in Scottsdale, near Phoenix. We've had some rain but the ground dries as soon as it stops. Some of the lower-lying running/walking paths get a bit muddy after rain. I've noticed, driving around the streets, that there do appear to be storm channels built into the landscaping. They make the area very attractive but so far I've not seen any water in any of them. The north-western area of the state is in danger, though, and in one place six homes, five of them unoccupied, have been swept away, one report says.
Flagstaff, 232Km north of us, has had snow falls but that is moving east now.
Driving through Flagstaff after snow has fallen is really pretty but it's still cold stuff.
Thanks for asking.....
AlmaG.
Alice, we have several - hope they all check in - we have major flooding in southern Utah - as well, not as severe as Arizona, however. It has been raining most of today in northern Utah, but we are on high ground here. *4U
Yes Shirlene, I do hope they check in. I am glad you are on high ground. The last thing you need is a flood.
Alice, we have webbed feet in brissy but not quite as bad as there....Sally
We got some sunshine in Victoria Point today. but I don't think it will last.
I have been out Christmas shopping and just got home and didn't even know that we had flooding going on. I sure did get wet from going in and out of the stores!! I will have to watch the news!
