I've been trying to learn digitizing and have used both of them. They are great resources for learning to use your software better.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

twee: Yes, I'm a member of the Digi Challenge group - mine was the all blue NOEL wallhanging since my walls are blue and I didnt want to use Christmassy colours :)

I've not heard of those video lessons, so no I havent used them.

Shirlene: I know you didnt ask me, but I can answer (hope twee doesnt mind) : I suspect you already have the "right" software as any software that you can manually punch with can be used because Vivian writes non-software-specific lessons. You're not allowed to use auto punch software simply because of the fact that manual punching is the point of these lessons :) I use PE Design, others use Embird, 4D, SEU, etc, so if you get stuck with any part of the lesson there's always someone willing to help you out coz they're also using the same software. You simply send your question to the group and someone will always jump in and help you. To join in the digitising lessons you must be a member of both the Rose Cottage group AND the Digi Challenge group. The digi lessons now cost $5 for the current month and previous lessons are available too. xXx

Great! Are you working on the Jan lesson? great job answering your question. January is two redwork designs and I've gotten them digitized, but need to do clean up work now.

Merry Christmas Terri. I have seen many samples of the work that hase been done throught the Yahoo Group from Rose Cottage, but I have never taken the challenge on to do anything - I don't believe I have the sort of software needed for it - can you explain what you might need to be involved with this group?

danababes did a great job answering your question. January is two redwork designs and I've gotten them digitized, but need to do clean up work now. Junes lessons are free and they are videos that are specific to artista. However your software would probably do the same thing, just different names for tools, etc. I'm a bit stumped on the last one, which is a cup you have to draw in the software and then digitize. I'm waiting to hear from the group on a couple things with it.
