Thank you so much Yoriko - we had a wonderful Christmas Day with all the family about 21 in all! Plus the 5 grandchildren - noisy plus!!!!!

Thanks Shirlene - I was given hugs by parishioners after singing. It's a beautiful song and yes, my SS did a great job. I'll have to have that cricket one somewhere in a quilt one day.

P.S. Can't wait to see the looks on Ryke and Jasana's faces when they tear the paper off their presents! The babies don't understand yet of course as they are too little.

Thanks for your comment! Yes, I've been to Midnight Mass and Trevor has gone for a bike ride. It's only 7.30am Christmas Day and I'm just going to go and prepare the Ham - it has a great glaze of Maple Syrup, Apricot jam and Apricot Nectar. I take the rind off rub in black pepper, the rind of 2 oranges and grated ginger. The smell will be great and then every 15 minutes I brush the Apricot glaze over it. Can you almost smell it cooking? It's a beautiful day here and they've changed the temperature - it's going to be 29C - I bet the children will all be swimming in the pool. We are now all going to our daughter's place as it will be their last Christmas there. Their home is on the market to sell. I'm just about to go and cook the Ham! Love Chris
139071. Me on my way out to Midnight Mass, I notice my eyes are a bit bloodshot! Great service and I sang O Holy Night. It was getting to bed though - we are just opening up our presents.
2. My presents a little bag with my initial on it, a piece of fabric with a couple of cricketers on it and a shopping bag - thankyou Secret Santa.

Meant to say that the design on my little bag is from Yoriko's designs. The bag was all made by hand! The shopping bag says Merry Christmas on it.

Lovely pic of you Chris, even with the tired eyes! Thanks for posting pics of your Secret Santa gifts and do hope Yoriko gets to see her design in use. We have no Kookaburras creating a racket here this morning, but ohmygosh the parrots were up bright and early -probably thought the apple tree in fruit was their Christmas gift. Hope you have a great day and the ham is perfect. Sounds yum!
