Rick finally got up and we exchanged gifts and I do believe he was happy with his and I most certainly was with mine. Merry Christmas to each of you.
Hello Shirlene. It is now 10.15 here in South Africa, and we are slowly, but surely saying good bye to another beautifull, special day. I hope you had a lovely day, and that this next year will be the best ever for you and Rick. I keep you in my prayers, and although I do not often get time to talk to you all, I am always thinking of you. You are just a few words away.
Warm hugs, and God bless you, for being such a wonderfull person.
Marietta

Merry Christamas Shirlene and Rick, and all the best for the New Year.*
Oh! Shirlene that place sounds brilliant. I am sorry Rick did not go with you.
Trevor is not a churchgoer and neither are my children anymore. They went right up till they were 16-17 years of age but I believe they have a faith of their own.
Never-the-less they are all wonderful caring, loving and generous adults now and I am so proud of them all. Love Chris
Chris, thanks - I so wanted to share it with him - in the years past - he has had to work - but he wasn't up to it - as a matter of fact - he isn't even up and it is 1:35 in the afternoon. One of the things that I love about Rick is his love of the bible - I can ask him anything and he can quote it and tell me the full story of it.
Have a lovely and enjoyable time with your family.
Merry Christmas my dear Shirlene, to you and all your family.
It is all most 10.00 Am here in France where I spend Christmas at my parents house with 2 of my brothers and their family.
I went to the Christmas mass last night with my parents and 2 of my son and my nephew. As it is a small village, the mass is at 7.30pm to have more children.
This morning, at 7.30 I couldn't hold the children to get up anymore. They ran downstairs and shouted " father christmas has come" !! All the prensents are open now, the daddies are bilting pirates boat and setting games of all sorts.
After that message I will go to get dressed and I will help my Mum and my sister-in-law to cook the Christmas dinner that will eat with a lot of French wine.
I wish to everybody a peacefull day and a very merry christmas.

Cathie, what a lovely picture perfect Christmas you and your family have had - the joy of having so many different generations together under one roof - how marvelous - Merry Christmas dear and thank you for sharing your lovely family with us for a moment. *4U
Merry Christmas, Shirlene. you have painted such a beautiful picture of the Abbey that I wish I were there to go with you. It is nearly one here, and i am the only one awake. I just put the turkey in and need to try to rest, but am unable to shut my mind off tonight. May you and Rick have a wonderful day, and our special wishes go out to you. Big Special Hugs to you, my friend.
OH my Beth - it would be nice to have to go to the Abbey with us - I think Rick would go - if someone else was joining us. If he only knew what he was missing. I am sorry you can't get to sleep - you have been working non-stop for the last day or so - it is no wonder you don't just nod right off. I know your dinner will be wonderful and all the trimmings will be great - have a lovely day with your special family. *4U
Merry Christmas Shirlene! Wishing you peace and blessings this wonderful day. Just returned from Midnight Mass. It is such a great Celebration. Our Children and Youth Choirs sing at the 5 Children's Mass and the children bring in all the stable figures in procession with candles. They are so excited to know who is caring in what statue. I so enjoy working with them. Seeing Christmas through a child's eyes is so awesome. Our Bell choir and the Adult Choir sang for Midnight Mass which we hold at ten pm since we also have a 9:30 am Christmas Day. Have a very blessed day. Will post some pics of my church environment .
God Bless to you and Rick.
Love from Minnesota. We have so much snow, and expecting another 10 inches on New Years Day. Hugs*4u

Cindy, so happy you were able to get in and out of your Midnight Mass and your Church with all that snow - this will be our 1st non-white Christmas for a very long while - well we didn't have them in NC to often - Hehehe! I can't wait to see the pictures of the Church. I can just see the excitement of the children to do their best. Thanks and Merry Christmas. *4U
I just spoke to Rick and he wants to stay home - I am so disappointed in not being able to go to the midnight mass - oh well - we will bring in Christmas by ourselves. *4U
I am so sorry that he did not feel up to going with you, but being together is special. Ken and I did that tonight.
Merry Christmas, Shirlene. I hope you & Rick have a wonderful Christmas together. Greetings from Tenn.
