Very Nicely done! I love to cross stitch by machine, never got the swing of it by hand.
I really Love this rose here. Here is a flower for your work.
Very pretty cross stitch. I think Ann the Gran.com has a free Cross stitch alphabet to down load. You could experment without spending money. I remember seeing them on her web site, but I have never stitched them. I have put some cross stitch on light weight knit tops. since they are not heavy, they lay well.
Very NICE! There is a question by a couple people about how to do cross stitch, looks like you know the answers. Flowers for all.
Very pretty - I have not tried cross stitch yet - is there a lot of thread cuts to do?
oops..I replied to mops. I intended to answer your comment...please see above..I did a lot of cross stitch handwork so this was an easy change over for me. I still get the satisfaction without all the hours.
LOvely monogram! I have not tried cross stitch yet, but I think I should. This is so nice. Flower for you.
I use embroidery scissors and cut away the previous jumps each time I change colors. I do this without removing the hoop. That way you don't embroider over them...they show thru if you don't remove them. It's not so bad unless you have an unusual amount of stops. I think this one had 13 stops and about 10 shades. I could have used less greens and reduced the number of colors, probably will next time. This was my first sew out on this one. This kind of work is so gratifying.
