The community already answered you question. But just wanted to tell you to stay warm. Maryland does'nt often get that cold. Our real cold spells are usually short in duration. How long of a cold season do you usually have?
cold start november finish march
but it is not that cold when it snow
when the sky is clear, the temperature come sometime to -25c whit the wind sometime -40c
The list of names used to have a title of "top contributers" or something along that line. It is the people who have been doing the most on the site, as in asking and answering questions, for which the other members here award flowers. Speaking of which, I am sending you a "sun" flower. Negative 15C is way too cold! It could make literal your mother's warning of, "Don't make that face! It might freeze that way!" =D (That's supposed to be a big grin, if you didn't know already.)
Oh my - that is tooooooo cold for me. Glad you asked the question and the community answered as they did - here is a flower for each of you. Shirlene
You are so right Jrob, Modo I'm in Maine right down below you and yes its snowing here again and it 16F above zero. And flowers to you and a special one to modo, one thats grown special so it won't freeze on it way, haha!!
It's around -10C yea it's cold but not as cold as you. Stay warm my friend and keep on chatting to us.
Jrob is spot-on with her answer, modo, and if she isn't qualified to answer this one - then none of us are, haha! Hugs and a flower to you both.
Forgot to remind you to keep warm, modo, embroider some beautiful quilts and rug-up in them.
Well, I might be qualified to answer that question. It is the numbers of times the site has been visited and also the numbers of flowers that have been "awarded" me by my fellow embroidery buddies for answers given, lies told, (oh, no, that shouldn't be there!), help, love, kisses, projects posted and because they are THE most wonderful, kind community in embroidery land! ;)
