Isn't that what Christmas is all about. You are a wonderful elf to do that for a that little girl. God bless you. If only there were more people in the world like you. Hugs Lynn
Awww! This brought a tear to my eye! How sweet of you to make her fears go away about Santa coming or not! She will always remember this kindness when she gets older and passes down the story of what you did for her!
Dawn
How sweet of you. I'm sure it's a memory you will both remember. Thank you for sharing your blessing with us. Reva
And here we have another what I call "True Blue Cutie" God will bless you for caring.
Wow!!!now that's showing the love of Jesus.....I know this 7 year old will always remember this as a special Christmas and like me she will smile when she is an adult and remembers her little teddy bear....thanks so much for sharing this....Gods blessings Janet
I think a ITH teddy from an elve is great. & one the child can use each year as I get my fosterchildren to write letters & post to Santa, some have posted theirs to Santas Christmas Tree at a local shopping store when they are staying home.
What a thoughtful gesture. Her parents must have been relieved when she was able to sleep.
That was a wonderful thing for you to do. I am sure that little teddy bear will always be very special for her. and you have made a very warm wonderful memory for her. She will always remember this very special Christmas. Hugs, Mary
I can imagine that really was the highlight of Christmas for you. What a great feeling, to have been able to help her settle in her new home. It's always so much more fun to give than receive and what perfect circumstances. Enjoy the glow that it brought -you deserve it.
What a sweet thing to do. Tell me about moving in Dec. I can remember at least 3 times taking the Christmas tree down from one house and putting it back up again in new home. Of course they were artificial, but what a chore. Kay
What a kind gesture, and something she will never forget
Wow!!!! what a beautiful thing you did. This really touched my heart. Was the "elf" in disguise or did she know it was you? Love Marg
What a wonderful thing to do. I'm sure her parents were thrilled at the aspect someone cared enough to share something as simple as a teddy bear to ease their child's insecurities about being in a new home at Christmas. God Bless you, Karen
What a wonderfull thing to do. I thnk she will never forget her Christmas in the new house, and just because a "little elve" came to the door to help her to sleep
Hugs and God bless
Marietta
That was so sweet of you, even if you didn't say who the elf was... God Bless You! Hugs, Judy
Wow, what a wonderful ELF!!! Such a thoughful and sweet thing to do!!! ***
What a wonderful Christmas elf and such a big heart to see a need and take care of it for the whole family. Keep on stitching.
Karen, that was so sweet and the Lord will bless you for this example of giving His love to others. God bless you. Hugs, Terre
What a wonderful thing you did for not only the little girl but her parents too! You kept magic alive!
What a special thing to do, it is so nice to know that Christmas is still alive in alot of people...you will be blessed for your thoughtfulness..GOD bless you!
Hi Karen - you've given my addiction real meaning.
Not only did the little girl have a wonderful Christmas and an absolutely magic ITH teddy bear, via Santa's Elf, but you have given me inspiration and a desire to create similar ITH t-b's for important 'work' during the coming year.
Your thoughtfulness will spread a long way further than you imagine.
Thank you for your story which has topped off my wonderful Christmas here in America, too.
AlmaG.
Karen you are so sweet. Gee You are just like me always making someone feel good and safe. A star in heaven for you! Suzanne
What a wonderful Christmas Story. Thank you for thinking about this little girl
Thank you for giving that child some piece of mind and a wonderful Teddy also. Yes, there is a Santa! Maybe not the convetional one but one that has a big heart! Hugs, Linda
What a wonderful story! It brought a lump to my throat. You truly are Santa's elf! This girl will always remember the time Santa let her know he knew her address... Her whole family is blessed with a wonderful neighbor! HUGS
That was really sweet of you. Here in CA nobody takes time to really get to know their neighbors.
Lori
That is a sad fact in America. I live in MT and it is not as true here, people still know each other, but it is not the same as it was when I was a child.
What a sweet Santa elf you turned into for that little girl....it was so thoughtful what you did.....
I wish you a very happy new year and continue you elfish ways.....
How wonderful :o)
Such a small thing as a little teddy can solve the "big problem" for a kid and make them sleep so save and deep.
Would like to see you in the nice elve-stockings (in my imagination they are always in red and white stripes ;o) *lol*
Thanks to you for doing that! Isn't it wonderful that we can make something like a little teddy with our machines in such a short time and help somebody in need so much?
Greetings, Bettina
You have such a big heart for making a child do happy. That's what Christmas is all about; making a child happy and fulfilling their dreams. Jesus did. When you bless a child you always get blessed back. Thank you for reaching out to a child.she will never forget it. God bless you in many ways. That's the reason we have embroidery machines; to bless others in the way that God wants us to. roberta
