Merry Christmas Monika - wow! I hope your hubby was greatly impressed, I know I was. If you know where you are going and what you want then it should only take a while to shop, shouldn't it?
I'm off to buy some good pinking shears this week, most probably end up at Spotlight (the only big haberdashery store in Newcastle) again and I hate the parking facilities there.
Love Chris
Have pinking shears but they are BLUNT and they would be ideal for the napkinring. Supposed to be sewing but spending time here! Have to go t work tomorrow but want to finish a chasuble for our Lady's day on 1st Jan
Mine suffered the same type of shock yesterday morning. We got the the shop before it was due to open but they were putting the stock outside & we were allowed inside.About 5 mins later I was in the car with reels of cotton .I can spend up to hour in there at times, because you have to wait for your turn ,& measuring & cutting takes more time.
Brave you are -I'm not at all keen to venture near any shops. Have been gardening lots and would rather shop online to avoid crowds. Have a couple of 'shops' left to do with my Embroidery Library Voucher and one from Julia's Needle as well. Rather drink milk out of a box when I run out of food supplies. Enough fabric here to last the rest of my life, most likely, if I were to actually take time to put into some projects. Good on you, impressing your DH with your speed readiness, though -hope he remembers all year :)
I L*VE shopping online too! I plan to start my "ME" time outings again. I hope you get to use some of your fabrics next year ;D *2U
This snow that has come up the east coast kept me inside all day. But hopefully I can get out in the morning and get a few things!
Congratulations on your shopping success!
TU, they had snow here but thank God the roads were not bad, enjoy your SHOPPING tomorrow ;D *2U
