Hi, gals! My Janome Digitizer Pro does a great job of re-sizing designs, but occasionally it gets confused with Redwork designs. It makes the stitches smaller, but doesn't reduce the number of stitches, so sometimes the designs are rather dense for Redwork. Does Tru-Sizer do a good job on Redword, does anyone know? Thanks, Marji

Hi Marji, I have used it on redwork, and the designs must have then stitched okay, I used the design in a bluework hanging quilt - but, for the life of me - I can't remember which designs I did it on, so I can't have a look to see what really happened. Now you all know why I now keep details of what I've done, haha!!! But, TruSizer is free, so just download it and try. It also shows what the design actually looks like when stitched out, also you can watch while it stitches your design (only a simulation of course). Hugs and flowers to you all, and have a beautiful day everyone.

I use trusizer to convert to my format.Yes Janome Digitizer Pro is a great programme.I have only used it to digitize.I use the customizer or my MC300E to resize any designs. You can watch the designs being stitched out on digitizer pro as well.I can also convert with it but it is a large programme and takes a while to open so I use trusizer.

Thanks ruthie,I have a design that I got of a "Pink" "Caddy" like Elvis gave his mother. Think I"ll try resizing it next week. Doing an Elvis quilt for years now a square at a time when I find something that remindes me of him.

Just a reminder when re-sizing, it's always a good idea to do a test stitch-out first, just to be on the safe side. If all goes well with the test, then you're set to go, and the test ones can be used for something else - a quilt square, crazy patch piece, potholder, lots of things. Have fun girls, and enjoy resizing those designs that were in your *too large* folder.

Thank you, Ruthie for this info . I also can only use 4x4 but it sounds like with this I can finally reduce some larger designs so I can use them. Flowers for both of you.

Letvia, will I do instead of Raels, haha. This is the info that I've just sent to Lyn, so here it is for you. ***** here is a link to a free program that will not only convert almost all formats, but it also resizes designs very successfully. http://www.wilcom.com.au/PRODUCTS... Have fun, and hugs and a flower for you.

Thank you very much ruthie, I wrote to raels because she gave the info in an answer but it is ok if you can save my life too, jaja, that was exactly what I needed because I want to resize several designs because my machine only embroider 4x4. Thanks again. And of course a flower for you.
