You are all such a help. Now could you please walk me thru how to post a project on the site? How do I get a picture there? What details do I need to say with the project? Thanks again.

OK All my helpers, I will try this in the future. OH NO, I will have to leave here to do all the things to get any project pictures to you. In that case,it maybe a while. Hugs and flowers.

Thanks for the question dlmds and all the wonderful answers. Someday I might get up the courage to try it. Until then I'll keep reading and sending FLOWERS to all my new found friends.

Oh that I looked that good before my first coffee, haha, love your avatar dlmds. On the *submit projects* page it tells you the maximum size, but most people keep it much smaller than that. Also make sure your pic is in a suitable format, jpeg (jpg) or gif is good. If you do decide to scan your project, place some plain (white is good) fabric, sheet, pillowcase etc over your project instead of closing the lid, make sure it covers the whole of the scanner bed, this usually eliminates that wrinkled and squashed look. Hugs and a flower for you, and dying to see your projects up there!

Thanks for that scanner tip, Ruthie, I'll have to try that next time. Suppose that means I'll actually have to sew something and post it now, lol. Posies to you all. Marji

Dlmds, do you have a digital camera? If you do, you just take a picture, download it to your computer (you might want to make a folder called 'my embroidery projects') & upload it from there, like Jrob directions said. You don't have to print it out & scan it, it's already in your computer. If you don't have a digital camera, you would have to take a picture, get it developed, then scan it into your computer. However, if your project is small enough, you could put it on your scanner bed & just scan the project, then send the scan. I did that once with a real quickie project, but I'll warn you that the lid of the scanner pressing down on the material can make it look 'wrinkled' or 'puckered'. Good luck, hope to see your projects soon. Marji

Sure will, it is easy if you know how. Right? ok,: my account, my projects, post a project. Give it any name you want. Put any details that you want. Look at some of the other postings to give you an idea. You can also go back and change it easily. Browse, and find the picture of your project whereever it is that you store them on your computer. (For example, mine are): my documents/my pictures/ 1543.jpg. Now, make sure that it is small enough to bring onto the site. I don't remember what the number of pixels are, but if you can email it, you can post it. Then click on SAVE and you are done....Tah Dah! ;)
P.S. I will be looking for it. *smiles*

Do I first take a picture then scan it into my computer? Thanks both and a flower each. Oh, I do not want to forget your hugs.

jrob, you've never emailed a *huge* picture like I have - 10+ meg, and yes, it needed to be that size, haha!
