Ditto everyone else. Send the fairy my way - or maybe the tornado can bring the fairy to Kansas. I was planning on getting my sewing area straightened while I was off for Christmas break - Dec. 18 - Jan 2. But didn't get done. My son in law just got my sewing cabinet taken downstairs. My dad did get my other cabinet painted for me. I was sorta hoping to have someone from HGTV to come do it for me

Haven't had any cleaning/straightening fairies around here, BUT I did have a "turn all the Christmas lites on" fairy. Every morning the week between Christmas & New Years when I got up all the lights on all the trees, wreaths, etc. were on! Finally caught the 9 yr. old grand daughter turning them on each morning! I'm glad she appreciated all the work I do to decorate almost everywhere in the house!! I told her I was sure it was a Christmas Lite Fairy doing it!! Grins all around.

Could do with a bit help around here too. I was wanting a pattern of the Barbie doll clothes -knew I had a couple somewhere?? couldn't find them, so used another [not as good]. When I had finished I found them in a box labelled "Doll and Craft Patterns"

i just came up from sewing all day and I don't think when I go back down tomorrow the cleaning fairy will have been here. Oh well, at least it looks like I have been busy doing something when it has threads everywhere. Judy

I really need to borrow your faries. Hopefully they could organize it for me, I had new flooring put in the first week of Dec. Then I was busy getting ready for Christmas and company. Now I forget what I did with everything and exactly where it is. Some of the stuff got put in the spare bedroom, some in the basement and some, I am not sure of!! LOL, Send them my way.

Raels, I need your fairy's as I still have sewing room to do, I starting with the hall cupboards have done 2 so far. 1 more which houses all my fabric is next later today then the wardrobe in my sewing room I hope to have all finished by 17th January when I have to return to work. Feels good so far lovely and tidy but for how long.

If those fairies show up send them to Florida. I worked some on my room yesterday - have not even ventured in there yet today, but I am still officially "on the clock". I had to come down for a break from my paying job. LOL

If you have a fairy that does that - would you sent her on vacation her for just a short while? Hehehe!

I decided it is useless. Everytime I organize I can't find a darn thing. Labeling makes no sense, since it nerver stays the same. Either the container or drawer isn't big enough anymore or other reasons. Lately I have been walking around with my camera, open drawers and take pictures. Goes in a file that says "Where is". Best thing is to wait for a fairy to clean up.

That's so funny! My brother in law called our mother in law the white tornado! We'd say be careful if you get up to go to the bathroom during the nite, when you come back the bed's made! (She really wasn't that bad!)

My New Year's resolution was to get organized in the entire house, but especially my sewing room!! I have
told my friends and guests that the "dust bunnies" were
my "friends" and to not disturb! Maybe with some organization to my house and cleaning, I can gently remove my "dust bunnies" and bid them farewell! LOL
I've waited a long time on the "Fairies" to come to no avail, so I just gotta get busy!!

You are not alone. I am trying to get my room back in order. I can see the floor now, but I still have piles of fabric, articles, projects, well, I am sure you know.

I love it when the fairies show up! But it doesn't happen often enough!

I hope those fairies show up. I am sorting out my clipart so I am ignoring bed time. I am on a roll and not stopping now. I just got my studio sorted yesterday after the Christmas madness. Good night.
