I saw the lamps in the projects section a while ago and I made one today.

I'm afraid I'm addicted now.

Very simple and quick, I put designs on 3 sides of mine, you can then turn it with a corner facing out and you see 2 designs at once. I sew the seam down the back and make it barely loose enough to slide onto the lamp. I need an IKEA store closer to me! Some sell on ebay but the price of shipping is too high cause of the weight of the lamps, IKEA doesn't ship them. Lamps run around $6.99-7.99, Pittsburgh store was $7.99.

Cut a piece of 24 high and 42 wide material. Mark it on 22 and every 10 cm.
Make on 1 or 2 sides a design that fits in the 10cm area. Press and sew the seams with a (I don;t know how you call the orange stripes on my lamp) hahaha. Close it on 40cm and wrap it around the lamp, that is all.
