jrob, I read that you stitched out the humming bird. What fabric did you put it on? What sz. needle? What stabilizer? Boy, I'm nosey Huh!

Good answer jrob. dlmds I used *homespun*, so the fabric was reasonably tightly woven, I found an 80/12 needle was good, didn't starch but used a medium weight iron-on stabiliser, hooped tightly, but not quite drum tight. The design isn't actually as dense as it first looks, the background of the picture isn't solid, only the bird and flowers are dense. It was fun to do, and I'm thrilled with the result, so hope this inspires you to try it, hugs and flowers.

If you have a question - ask it - that is what this section is for. You might look through the questions - however and see if it was already answered and them comment or add to it. Hehehe! A flower to you each.

I would LOVE to tell you, but alas, I have not stitched it out yet. I can tell you what I would do thought...I would put it on something tightly woven, perhaps a linen, that I had starched and temporarily adhered a heavy cut away, which I would not remove after I was finished. Needle size would depend on the fabric used, but I probably would go with a 75/11. hmmmmm, I wish I had time today...;)
