I took a quick look at the web site for this machine. Apparently it uses only a memory card. The format I believe is SEW. So store all your files in one place on your computer and organize them well. Put your blank (or filled - will overwrite) memory card into the sew slot. You should be able to access your embroidery files through your reader/writer. Load each one that you wish to work with into the assigned positions by highlighting the file and clicking on OK. when you have what you want, write to the memory card. That should be one of the options at the top of the menu. When it is ready it will tell you. Pop the memory card into your machine and you should be good to go. You will have to repeat this process every time you wish to change the designs. If you had a machine with a 3 1/2 inch floppy or a usb connection it would be much more simple but I didn't see any evidence of one. Good luck :)Mumra
hi,your knowledge of computers is incredible, i wish i had just some of your computer skills and knowledge
Thank you Mumra, I will have to get my son up here to look at my computer for me. It seems that I do not have an area to connect the Reader/Writer box, that is if I have the right cord for it. But thank you for your help. I will have to do some coverting of my files because my Janome 300 is a JEF format. I was once told that SEW and JEF should interchange with each other..I might just have to put it to the test since I have several thousand files in the JEF.. Wish me luck!!!
