gabribid, I too have a Futura CE 200, and I really enjoyed embroidering with it, although I only use it as a sewing machine now. The Singer is good, but I bought a Janome because I couldn't do anything else on my computer while I was embroidering with the Singer, despite having a very fast computer, I also do digital scrapbooking which takes heaps of memory, and my computer couldn't cope with the two at once!!! (I never do one thing at a time). Enjoy that Futura and flowers and hugs to you.
I still have my Scan. 300. It did beautiful stitching. But I really like the ability to see the screen with the information on my SE
I have a Simplicity embroidery machine and I am satisfied. I agree that some of the more expensive machines have too many things on them. If you like what you have that is the important thing. Here's a flower for you.

hello, I have futura ce 150 love it, having no problems at all. basic or not if you can embroider with it, that's all it takes to have fun. I am still learning too. sometime all the bells and whishers can make it harder to learn sometime,for me that is.
not sure what the differance is between our two machines are.
