It looks great! Do people join you at your table???...I noticed 4 chairs!
Oh, wow! What a terrific Playroom! I wouldn't want to leave! *'s
Well - looks great - I would love to be able to add to my room - guess I will have to wait to see if I ever retire - then maybe I will turn my work office and additional space into my sewing room and storage. LOL But, I don't really plan on retiring soon.
Looks great! I envy you for the white wall and bright natural light area. I have settled into my laundry area in our basement-gets alittle more cramped as I go. I do have a couple windows but they are a foot over my head from where I sit-I watch my customers cars pull in the driveway and their legs walk by before they ring my doorbell lol. I am set up pretty cozy tho-and what's nice about being in the basement-I can walk away and leave my mess out and nobody sees it or disturbs it .I would be almost embarrassed to show shots of my area after seeing yours and some others. oh well, better than nothing, right ~hugs to you~ linda~
Sorry about the fairies, they usually hang out here with me. Here they have a glass fairy house and lots of straw houses even a little bridge for them.Right now the ivy has died down so they hide more and stay close to home.I'll tell them to go see you to help you out.He-He Stella
Looks great! I only have a tiny table for cutting and etc. I have a cardboard cover that I use on my dining room table to do quilt layouts and etc. That's after I unload my husbands collection of "things" that he decides to leave there!
Thanks for the photos. Having read your comments the other day I realised my room needed a sort out. I am still at the sorting and reorganising stage. It is surprising just how much stuff we gather to help us with our sewing. You are very fortunate to have what appears to be a large room or is it just the great organisation?
It looks great. Doesn't it feel wonderful when things are all tidy? Only thing is finding where you have put everything!! Well done and with no help from the fairies. Sarah.
Now that you've done such a great job with your room, how about coming on over and doing mine too. Like the way you've got your room set up and you're well organized too.

Die for that table in my sewing room! my dining room has been dysfunctional for a while!!!
Nice! My embroidery machine shares a corner with my computer and there is a bunch of other things in there too so I have no room.
I'm jealous! I doubt I have a third of that space, plus there's often a very long dog on whatever floor it can find! Looks great. Well done.
Congratulations on the success of organizing your room, it looks great!
It seems that all the fancy containers and furniture available to crafters and we still can't keep our sewing space neat. Crafters like to spread out and create. It looks like you have all your supplies well in reach and everything has a place. That's a picture of a real working sewing room.
Hey Raelene, Happy New Year to you.
Have you ever thought of getting some old wardrobes from Sally's and putting shelves in them? They make great material cupboards as you can see everything but it's all still protected from dust and fading.
We have about 5 old wardrobes from Ray's mum's house that we are going to use as walls and storage, in the downstairs big empty garage at the new house, and some of them face into my sewing area. I can't wait to get all my stuff organised in it.
I'm envious of your nice outlook and large windows, I don't have any windows at all in my new craft area.
I expect you will be far less productive now because you won't be able to find anything! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!
Hugs n love, Meg
I have 4 wardrobes with shelves for my material and a heap of plastic storage boxes and it still not enough
FOUR!!!! My goodness, may I come and raid your stash? Just kidding, of course. My stash has been growing since I retired, but I think I would still only have enough material to fill one wardrobe, guess I'd better get shopping. LOLOL!!!
Hugs n love, Meg
How can you work in such a clean room???? It is so nice, I wish I had one.......********************
I don't know how long it will stay like this. I am lucky enough to have another area with an 8ft square table for cutting out and all my material. Hubby says he is going to extend my room so it can all be together but I don't know how long I will have to wait
Raelene, it looks like you could do with some nice man to come and make you some floor to ceiling built ins, but at least you are organised. :-)))
