I would advise you to do a washaway or tear-a-way. If you use a tear-a-way, be sure to tear as much of it as you can before you layer it with batting and backing. If you don't, you might have a hard time quilting all of the layers together. I would love to know what pattern you are using for the quilt as I want to make an embroidery quilt also.
